Easy Honey Garlic Chicken Stir Fry

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts (chopped into medium sized cubes)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 2 tbs olive oil
  • 1 head of broccoli (chopped)
  • Sesame seeds (optional for topping)

Sauce:

  • 6 tbs soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth or water
  • 1 tbs apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tsp garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbs corn starch
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

Collect all necessary ingredients for your meal, such as vegetables, spices, proteins, and any special sauces or condiments. Ensure you have everything you need before starting.

Season 4 chicken breasts with salt and pepper (to taste). Then, place in a warm skillet with olive oil. Cook until golden brown. Be careful not to overcook as chicken will continue to cook in sauce later. Once golden brown, remove from skillet and set aside.

In a separate bowl, mix together ingredients for sauce- soy sauce, honey, chicken broth or water, apple cider vinegar, garlic, corn starch, and red pepper flakes (optional for heat). Set aside.

Next, chop broccoli and add to the skillet. You can add more olive oil if necessary. Sauté for a few minutes or until it has reached desired tenderness. Once sautéed, add in chicken and sauce, mixing together until all ingredients are evenly coated in the sauce. Let simmer on low until sauce thickens.

Plate the meal attractively, garnish with sesame seeds of desired, and serve it hot over rice if desired. Enjoy your delicious homemade meal and share it with family or friends if desired.
